Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the PlainMark Editor application ("the App"), published by Commerce Beacon, Inc. ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

License

Your use of the App is licensed, not sold. Subject to these Terms and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control.

Your content

You retain all rights to the documents you create, open, edit, or export with the App. We claim no ownership of, and have no access to, your content.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except as permitted by law, and not to use the App in violation of any applicable law.

Purchases

The App is sold through the Apple App Store. All payments, refunds, and billing matters are handled by Apple under Apple's terms and policies.

Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your documents.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Commerce Beacon, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

Changes

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted at this address with a revised date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Commerce Beacon, Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
